France has been ranked fourth by most visited country in the world. Last year it had an approximate 84 million tourists visiting the country (UNWTO). France is proud of 39 historic sites registered under the world heritage list of UNESCO. Art galleries and museums are a major attraction for tourists. Cultural interests, Lyon, skies resorts, green tourism at the countryside. France also has a long and tremendous history from the French revolution to world war1 and World War 2 and historic site depicting these histories have led to high number of visitors to this region. France gives visitors with a lot in architectural history tradition and heritage that is of importance it is shared. Paris is home to some of the world’s most famous and recognizable landmarks, for instance Eiffel tower; the most visited monument in the globe.

Historical sites are a major tourist attracting in France. France has very many sites for instance; the palace of Versailles, this was the official residence French’s monarch and head of government King Louis XIV.

In conclusion it is with no doubt that France is one of the best region that one can visit and get a variety of places to visit. In general France offers variety and something to each and every individual who would wish to visit her. For instance the Germans will visit because of beavers; the Britons will visit to enjoy the serene countryside while the Americans visit to see the chateaus and the French culture.
