Dogs that bark because of boredom will definitely be calling for any attention especially from the owner. In most cases, lazy dogs are the ones engaged in careless barking. The best reinforcement for this type of behavioral problem is by engaging the dog in lots of activities; which will render him active always (.Gravett, 2010) For example, the owner can decide to use the toys such as Kongs in stimulating the dog’s body and challenging its brain. It is quite vivid that a tired dog and well exercised will rarely bark of boredom.
