United States Intervention and Conflict Management Post Cold War: Conflict is the act of two parties being in a state of disagreement. This disagreement may be caused by several factors that if not well mitigated will lead to severe consequences.

It is therefore necessary that every party embrace the need to have a peaceful living through intervening into conflict areas and possible managing the conflict (Ohaegbulam 15). It is greatly important to know the real cause of conflict before we venture into how to solve it.

The continued over emphasize of violence among different parties has made conflict a major issue of concern worldwide. Conflict is of two types. It could be between two ethnic communities. Also known as intra conflict or it may be between civil parties also known as inter-conflict.

Should the American government stop its military intervention, then the reality is that so many acts of terrorisms will be reported and several lives will be lost. This means that the right of life, which is very fundamental, will be infringed.

The benefits attached trough military intervention in fighting terrorism on violent areas far outmatch the negative effects, everyone must therefore embrace the idea of supporting this move of conflict management through military interventions.
