They constructed pyramids and temples to honor the gods and Aztec priests carried out religious duties. Aztecs were continuously trying to impress the gods and believed that the universe would to an end unless they sacrificed people.

A War of Witches is an astounding version of a world of sorcery and magic and that depicts the deepest grounds of Aztec religion. What begins as a pure ethnographic experience ends in a disclosure as Knab discovers the ghastly dimensions of a blood dispute that has left hundreds of sorcerers and magicians dead.

We find that when assorted with the contemporaries of Neopaganism, his books resulted in a new religious society known as Mexicanista. The Mexicanista movement arrived at the climax of its recognition in the 1990s. This movement attracted a revisit to the spirituality and mysticism of the Aztecs.
