Traumatic Brain Injury
Traumatic brain injury results from the brain being injured by an external mechanical force causing brain dysfunction. The condition is also referred to as intracranial injury. The condition can be classified according to the severity, mechanism, or other features. TBI can just be the head injury but the head injury is broad since there could be damages to other structures of the head.

In conclusion, traumatic brain injuries can be prevent by implementing measures that reduces or eliminates the chances of the occurrence of causes. These include using seat belts and air bags in cars to mitigate the effects of collisions, avoiding driving while on effects of drugs and alcohol, and using helmets.
