Discussion is a conceptual and a conversation that present ideas in the clear and sophisticated manner. It seeks to share information and produce a neutral conclusion in the effort of seeking answers and solutions. Discuss often provide answers in the form of academic standards as listening take places of disagreement and gather rational pieces of an argument. Discussion avoids areas of differences and strong conflict. Debate is a form of competition that seek to win or succeed in proving other logic to be wrong and emphasis on the right and wrong through evidence. Debate search for flaws in the others’ way of thinking and critique their position.

Different people have varying apoint of view towards a particular subject which may affect learning and change process.
Dialogue is hinged on a shared concern, curiosity and invoke a spirit of inquiry and depends on openness to new ideas and willingness to shift position and to learn from and with each other.
