The Telling” written by Ursula K Leguin

The Telling” written by Ursula K Leguin:The telling is designed in the Hainish earth of Ursulla’s two most favourite and famous novels, The Dispossessed and The Left Hand of Darkness. The Telling itself is not in reality a genre novel, it is actually a telling, and it thrives in its objective of telling a culture and focusing on imposed ideologies. In her book, Ursula tells about Sutty, an Earth lady who visits the planet Aka as an Ekumen diplomat, with the aim to research Akan culture and history.

The telling is the scheme of culture that rules most of life before contact, and it is most outstanding for its intricacy and basically diffuse and endless nature. We find that, in the course of her learning, Sutty discovers that there is a centre of the telling.

From the above evidences from the story, it is clear that credible fictions have had great influence in our today’s world. For instance, industrialization has affected culture of many people in the society just as it is the case in Akan culture.
