The Reality of Race-Ethnic Relations in the U.S. – Lesson Learned:Americans have a come a long way. Today, the majority of Americans view ethnic relations positively. However, Hispanic-black relations seem to lag behind. From a national perspective, the views of Americans in regard to race relations have been quite active. For the most part, Hispanics, blacks, and whites do not differ much in how they identify relations between ethnic and racial groups. Most groups see white-Asian relations as good, and approximately 70% of these groups view white-black and white-Hispanic relations as good. However, their perceptions of black-Hispanic relations differ.
