This paper seek to evaluate the level of authors’ persuasiveness, namely Magretta and Rosenthal in their article in 1998 and 2013 respectively. From the interview, the article Supply Chain by Magretta seems to be more persuasive and more accurate about time and figures.  The article assert that changes in technology has changed and restricted completion on a global scale, where the aim entrepreneurs in 1980 to improve the level of partnership with suppliers to improve quality and cost, but in the 1998, the structure of the market had changed to speed, innovation and flexibility.

The article asserts that early management process used by slave owners is similar to that used in the modern setting, where workers are treated in a similar way as slaves.  The effort is workers in the workplace are evaluated as scaled by the employer because they forget the role of humanity in the workforce. However, the author does not analyze into details   changes that have occurred in workplaces in the modern times resulting to the improvement of workers welfare (Rosenthal, 2013).
