The teens need to be aware of the operations and what will happen to them before they commit to carrying out the procedure. The information gap can be attributed to the parents and the doctors. The teens are minors to make their decisions, and with the pressure in their age, they need a sober mind making decisions for them. Therefore, measures need to be put in place to ensure that the procedure happens under a policy of full, informed consent
