Strategic Management; A case analysis of the Apple Inc
Strategic Management; A case analysis of the Apple Inc: Strategic Management refers to purposeful and emergent initiatives that are undertaken by the managers of organizations. These initiatives include how the managers use resources to improve the output and performance of their firms. The managers state the vision, mission and objectives of the organization very clearly. They also design the policies and plans, projects and different programs that the organization is to do and also assign adequate resources that will be used in their implementation. Strategic management is therefore a management activity which aims to give direction of where the organization is headed.

It is therefore fundamental for any organization to make strategic management the basis of the everyday decisions. Apple modified its name in 2007 and that has contributed to the success that it now boasts of.
