SouthWest Airlines

South West Airlines in an American airline that is said to be the largest low-cost carrier in the world. According to the 2014 December annual report, the airline was employing 46,000 employees and operating more than 3,400 flights in one day. The airline also is used by the most domestic passengers of any U.S. airlines (South West Airline, 2015).

The net income of the South West Airline grew by 538% between 2011 and 2014 from 178 to 1136 million US dollars. This shows that the company was able to more that grow its revenue more than six times in the period of four years. The trend of all the financial aspects indicates a continuous commendable growth between 2011 and 2014. Given that the company is able to invest more money into its services it shows that the airline has the potential to continue doing well in the foreseeable future.
