Social cognitive theory education:The social Cognitive Theory (SCT) denotes a psychological model of behavior, which was derived mainly from the ideas of Albert Bandura in period between 1977 and 86. SCT model was initially established with a stress on the acquisition of social behaviors (Bandura, 1991). The theory continues to stress that learning takes place in a social setting and that people mainly learn via observation.

The model (Coping model) used should be competent because student will try to copy behaviors of models that complete tasks effectively, not poorly. In the classroom, an instructor could either teach right behavior or decide learner models that are above or at the observer’s knowledge or skill level to show these skills and knowledge correctly.
