Social and religious causes of tensions in Jewish society:The Jews or Jewish people, are an ethno religious collection of people who originate from the Historical, Ancient Near East Israelites. Consistent with Jewish tradition, the Jewish descent may traced back to the Scriptural patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, as well as the Biblical matriarchs Sarah, Leah, Rachel, and Rebecca, who were dwellers Canaan in the eighteenth century BCE.

As explained before, the Jews supposed that the Messiah would come to lead them in conquering Romans who had put them in bondage and form a kingdom where they were to be the rulers. They treated Jesus like a glorious king when he visited Jerusalem. However, when he permitted his arrested, trial, and crucifixion on the cross, the society stopped believing in him as the promised Messiah. They therefore rejected Jesus.
