Skilled Workers Shortage: Since the culmination of the economic downturn, many companies in the United States and other countries have been looking to expand. In the United States, the times are looking up well for manufacturing industry among other industries that require particular skill sets to execute. More than half of the major companies in the United States are reported to be having plans to expand and also increase production.

In conclusion, the struggle of mitigating the shortage of skilled workers in the country, there is a need that the players in the industrial, education sector and the government to work hand in hand. They can play their part in the provision of information to the public and the young people and also provide schemes that encourage on the job training to the workers. The collaborative efforts are the major way to curb the imminent disaster facing the industries in the country.
