Should the Death Penalty be obliterated: The Death Penalty gives peace of mind to society and those that have been a victim of such horrific crimes; therefore it should not be obliterated because justice is being served.

Imagine finding out that one of your close relatives, friends, or classmates has been brutally raped, murdered, or raped, and deserted in the streets like a dead animal.

It would be so hard to give appropriate justice for such an action, the murderer could be judged with 3rd degree murder, considered insane thus rendered free. On the same note, this does not rule out the fact that they defied a person a chance to realize their dreams. What if the perpetrator was guilty? Wouldn’t the death penalty be the most appropriate choice?

a repeat offender. The other reason would be the fact that death penalty is a cheaper option as opposed to life imprisonment. It not only serves justice, but also forestalls other deaths from occurring. Murder is not a trivial crime to be committed.

Looking back at my scenario, how would someone feel to lose a daughter, close friend, colleague, or a friend? Would one feel contented to see the perpetrator still alive or put away through death?
