Say Anything is a decisive coming of age film about the difficulties of teenage relationships. The film attempts to portray if any parallels could be drawn amongst the perspectives on the relationships offered in the society and also the business-customer dynamics of the social media relationships.

Diane’s father chose to lie about his finances to prevent Diane from going through all the pain especially after the divorce of the divorce. Also, when the parents got divorced, Diane chose to stay with her father due to the trust and openness that her father always encouraged.
