Samsung vs Apple:Samsung is a multinational conglomerate company in South Korea headquartered in Seoul. The company deals with many subsidized businesses all under the Samsung brand. Samsung is the largest business conglomerate in South Korea. The company was founded by Lee Byung-Chul as a trading company in early 1938. It later expanded its roles in the next three decades to textiles, food processing, securities, insurance and retail business. The company joined the electronic industry in the late 1960’s. Lee, the founder, died in 1987, and the company separated into four segments; Samsung group, Shinsegae Group, CJ Group and Hansol Group. Since then Samsung has globalized its activities in mobile phones, electronics and semiconductors.

Apple ought to employ a business model that would marry technology and art and turn market inches into mass markets. This would discourage the behavior of selling low quality products. When Steve Jobs was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the company was using a development cycle which created innovation for the employees. Apple should employ product checks before they are taken to the market to ensure that employees are protected from poor quality products. Upon implementation of these strategies, Apple would have effective distribution strategies and be able to compete with Samsung in the emerging markets.
