Salary Inequalities at Acme Manufacturing
Salary Inequalities at Acme Manufacturing:The issue of salary is prevalent in almost every organization. There are always questions whether the employees are fairly paid or not. When the employees are paid differently, the aspect of inequality sprouts. A person may be a new manager in a particular organization only to realize that the predecessor (the one in charge before) had developed a salary structure that depicted salary inequalities. (Levitt, 2008, p.98). Such salary inequalities can be based on various issues such as gender and qualifications. But whatever the reason, an inequality in salary can result to trouble for those in the managerial positions especially with employee bodies such as Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The law may require the Acme manufacturing to compensate the underpaid employees highly. Such action will not only ruin the reputation of the management but will also result in financial constraints.
