The company offers accessories, apparel, and personal and personal care products for individuals of all ages and gender, including men, women, and children (Gap Inc., 2014). Its product are offered under the Gap, Banana Republic, Piperlime, Old Navy, and Athleta brand names. The corporation operates in two main segments ie Stores and Direct; Stores comprises the operations of the retail stores for Old Navy, Banana Republic and Gap;

Gap Inc. ability to deliver high sales and revenues will largely depend on its ability to accurately forecast fashion and demand trends, as well as selecting effective marketing techniques and offering or providing a broad range of products to its customers (Gap Inc., 2014). So far, the company has been successful in achieving the same, it is, therefore, expected that the company will continue to post desirable financials in the future.
