Race in the Media

Many countries face racism as a worldwide issue. It refers to a serious problem that has the potential to cause moral panic and social unrest in the society. In the past few decades, media and media influence have been the primary cause for the spread of racism. The stereotype is one of the main contributing factors that oversee construction of racism among the white and black people.

Furthermore, media promotes the notion of consensus. With all this in place, the media manages to steer the construction of racism in the African-American communities.
