A performance appraisal system is necessary since every employee has a different approach to the job. A performance appraisal system improves the employee work performance, communication prospects, evaluating employee potential and facilitating employee counseling. In this case scenario being the Human Resources Specialist in a company with the function of to designing and conducting employee performance appraisals of the different employees.

A better review system could improve communications, while helping people to increase their own efficiency and to elucidate their responsibilities in the workplace. Even for a small business, the 360 and 720-degree feedback may be useful. They can improve communications and most likely raising the employees’ performance considerably.
