It was established in 1906 under the name New Balance Arch Support Company. Its identity has remained among the top footwear makers in the sports arena. The company specializes in manufacturing sportswear and attire all over the universe.

Kotter argues that people are likely to change when they are told the truth because it influences the feelings they have about the change (Kotter, 2011). Therefore, the New Balance Shoe Company is likely to go through the change management process successfully when the management follows the eight steps stipulated in the Kotter’s Model.
