Native American Mascots

Native American Mascots:According to oxford dictionary a mascot is anything especially a person or animal used that is used to symbolism a sport team, company or organization. Native American mascots are therefore the use of symbols and images from the American native’s culture and traditions as symbols of sport teams in America.

—————Middle of paper————-

To conclude, it is clear that the use of this name is offensive and a racial slur as opposed to cherished tradition to the American natives. It is barbaric, outdated and has no place in the 21st century. No one should feel inferior because of how his culture is perceived as a result of Mascots use.
