Leadership, power, corruption

In the modern world power leadership and corruption are three common things that are intertwined. The relationship between the trios is inseparable. Power originates from leadership and on the other hand corruption is prevalent among leaders. The rising cases of corruption relate closely to the power bestowed upon leaders.

The key explanation, why power corrupts, is that testosterone levels tend to rise when one acquires power. It is also evident that the more power a person acquires, the more he will turn out to be corrupt. It is very important for leaders to ensure that they work towards the best interest of the public. They should shun away from egocentrism and use their powers for the better of the stakeholders.
