Human Service Organization: The boys and Girls clubs of America (BGCA) is an organization that deals with young people.  It was started in 1860 with the aim of helping the boys who were roaming in the street to start living a purposeful life.

It is a national organization that provides the young people with programs to help them after completing their school. The organization has it’s headquarter in Atlanta and regional offices in cities of America such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

BGCA is a place where young people grow, learn and have fun. It is a place that acts like foundation for great future. BGCA services and programs aim at promoting development of young people into responsible and dependable citizens (Ferrer-Wreder, 2004).

Parents can borrow the methods that the BCGA uses in facilitating the education of the youths. The learning process for the club uses fun and other strategy that is academically beneficial to the youths. The use of such strategy makes the learning interesting and the young people can connect what they learn in class and what happens in real life.

The mission of the club is to enable the young people to reach their full potential, that is, caring, productive and responsible adults. The core beliefs for the BGCA are to create a safe place where the young people can grow and learn importance life experience. The clubs wishes to keep pace with the ongoing relation with the adult professionals. The clubs also strives  to raise the opportunity and hope of the young peoples.
