human resource management how child care at work effects employees

Productivity of any organization depends on how well the factors of production are managed. Among these factors of production, is labor managed by human resource department. Firms that motivate their employees rank higher in terms of productivity than firms that do not. The greatest motivation for employees is their personal lives (Gordon & Michael , 2008).

In conclusion, firms should adopt childcare programs in their workplaces. This will improve productivity in many ways including; through maintaining of customer base, reducing adjustment and replacement costs, saving on reduced unproductive hours and increased employee commitment hence more innovation. All these are positive effects of introducing childcare programs in the workplace.
