Homosexuality can be described as the condition of sexual behavioror desire directed toward a person or people of one’s own gender. Homosexuality has several causal factors, which influence its eventual origination in individuals, for instance, homosexual experience and cultural influences. Besides, homosexuality has some effects on society and individuals (Greenberg et al., 2014).Since the 1950s, the homosexual community has raised a lot of scrutiny, fear,as well as confusion in the reports of various exposure mediums.

Whereastrue to lifehomosexuals’ representations are more prominent withinmodern media channels, the stereotypical homosexuals’ conceptsmaintain a constantauthority. The outreaching media’s capability and the influence it has on the public have shiftedthe view of homosexuals from troubled deviants to members of the society who are celebrated(Gross, 2012). It is, therefore, the media outlets that determines people’s comprehensive awareness of the homosexual community and the way the society reacts to social changes withinthe communities.
