History of Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is distinguished as the largest Arab state in the Arabian Peninsula and Western Asia with a land area of approximately 2,150,000 Km2. It is also the second-largest state in terms of geography within the Arab world. Its bordering states include Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Saudi rule succession went on to his sons King Saud, King Khalid, King Faisal, King Abdullah and King Fahd, who have all passed on. The ruling King at the moment is Salman bin Abdulaziz, who in inherited his power in 2015 from King Abdullah (Bowen, 2015).
