Global Warming

Fresh water is a crucial resource for human existence. Currently, most parts of the world have an inadequate amount of water for use. Studies predict that by 2020, water resource is going to be scarcer due to raising demand that will be in parallel to increased agricultural activities and population (Baba). The situation will be exacerbated by global climate change. Research indicates that global warming will account for 20 percent increase in water scarcity globally in the 21st century (Epa.gov).

However, global warming can be associated with human activity, meaning that it is only human who can avert the situation. Global warming is as result of lot of CO2 in the atmosphere resulting to a kind of blanket that traps heat and warm earth. To address the issue, nations needs to commit meaningful strategies that eliminate or reduces the emission of heat-trapping gases. Governments should channel more efforts on enacting laws that regulate gas emissions and also conserve the environment.
