Female intuition in emotion recognition: Researches have been carried out to prove that women are better than men at recognizing facial expressions and emotions. The studies have shown that women are better interpreters of facial expressions and emotions expressed subtly.

Over the past years, it has been evident that mothers were better interpreters of non-verbal cues than non-mothers. Stef Daniel in his article, Mother’s Instinct, (2013) explains that the instinct of a woman is exponentially elevated once she bears a child.

Women of different social walks, education levels and race can feel the pain of their children even when they are very far from them. There is no scientific explanation for this but is believed that the need to protect,

Every mother is able to feel and read the feelings of other children in need accurately. This study however does not show whether the emotional competence increases or decreases with age.

Psychologists however agree that the more years a woman takes with their kids or the higher the number of kids the better the ability of the woman to read feelings and emotions.

Further studies can be done to prove this hypothesis too.  In spite of this, it is still evident that irrespective of the age, and number of kids, a woman with a child is in a better place to read emotions than a woman with no child.
