Factors Motivating Terrorist Groups

The terrorism study is greatly complex due to the various factors that cause and drive it as well as the misunderstood motivations that drive the terrorists. ISIS is indeed among the many feared terror groups that have exploded onto the global as well as the international security agendas with its seizure of the eastern Syria territories as well as the large parts of western and northern Iraq.

In conclusion, there have been reports of a fractured relationship of various Salafist groups that are in Syria and Iraq and the West and any other agency should exploit these cracks and undermine the recruitment of soldiers as well as destroy the popular appeal of living a good Islam life. Despite the motivations, the Islamic State has had further problems that include increased resistance from neighboring Arab nations that are in complete disagreement with the ideologies being made plus the interpretation of the Caliphate system.
