Death with Dignity Act was first established in the United States that allows or gives physicians the permission to end a person’s life under some restrictions depending on the person condition. Due to different reasons, the law has been applied by different states in the world. The law has encountered different criticism because some people felt that it was not appropriate.

In conclusion, the Death with Dignity Act is a law that ensured even after the death of the patient no one will be left to receive the blame that he/she was the one who took part in the decision making process for the act. The law ensured that both the family and the physician were all protected by involving other witnesses, making the request from the patient to written, conducting a mental condition test, involving another physician and even giving the physician the freedom to choose if he/she will initiate the act or not.
