Cognitive behavioral therapy
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a psychological disorder treatment method that involves direct collaboration between the psychologist and the patient/client. The client is required to attend several sessions with the psychotherapist. It works by dividing the problem into five different parts so as to help in understanding of the overwhelming problems that the client goes through.

The client or patient is another important component of this therapy. Other components include the sessions allocated; in which the two parties will be meeting for a certain duration. A doctor may be present at times if some medication will be needed.
This method works best for those people suffering from severe depression or anxiety caused by an underlying cause. Aaron T. Beck is the known founder of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
