Characteristics and Environments of a Human Service Organization Paper

The boys and Girls clubs of America (BGCA) is an organization that deals with young people. It was started in 1860 with the aim of helping the boys who were roaming in the street to start living a purposeful life. It is a national organization that provides the young people with programs to help them after completing their school. The organization has it’s headquarter in Atlanta and regional offices in cities of America such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Parents can borrow the methods that the BCGA uses in facilitating the education of the youths. The learning process for the club uses fun and other strategy that is academically beneficial to the youths. The use of such strategy makes the learning interesting and the young people can connect what they learn in class and what happens in real life.
