Banuel Film “Un Chien Andalou”

The infamous Surrealist archetypal short movie, Un Chien Andalou, of 1929 was crafted by Salvidor Dali and Luis Buñuel after a conversation between the two gentlemen regarding their dreams. Buñuel disclosed his visualization of a cloud moving ahead of a full moon similar to a razor blade cutting an eye, whereas Dali told of his hand crowded with ants. In addition, there lay the key inspirations behind the striking Mise-en-scene in the film.

It works to dent the pragmatist, machinist dogmas and present an unprejudiced outlook of the globe and all of its difficulties. It is vain to seek a deeper significance in the characters or plot in the film; as an alternative, one must concentrate on the events occurring nature and view the movie with fresh eyes unrestricted from the connections people place on the surrounding things.
