Annotated Bibliography/ test measurements:This book by Linda J. Baum was published with contributions from Kent State University. It consists of 115 pages which gives a look into the validity of MMPI-2 in a forensic setting. The book explains that the reconstructed clinical scales of MMPI-2 were scrutinized in a forensic setting. Data for the research was found from the case files of 2156 men and women who were who were ordered to undergo criminal forensic testing by the criminal law system of the concerned test.
The research was done to assess the trustworthiness of the external and internal validity of the reconstructed clinical scales. In addition, the origin, frequency and implications of the differences in the clinical and the reconstructed clinical scales were inspected. The research showed that the scales were reliable and they reflected valid results. The reconstructed clinical scale, however, has an improved ability and showed several criterion measures.

In other words, this articles provides the theoretical foundation and basis upon which clients and therapist would arrive simplify the process so that all the participants understand what usually occurs before inferences are drawn. The MMPI-2 interpretations laid in this article are designed in a user friendly mode that is relational and relevant to the happenings of the clients not from an abstract angle and perception but rather from an emphatic, personal and friendly manner.
