Driving while drunk is precarious, and drivers with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) are at a high risk of causing car accidents, highway injuries and vehicular demises. Alcohol affects the attentiveness and the driver’s ability to make quick decisions on the road. As a result, it becomes tough to execute the required maneuvers behind the wheel. It is, therefore, important to come up with a solution to this problem. (Ross, 1994, p. 12). The paper seeks to explain an action plan intended to address the issue of drunk driving among the adults (26-60 years). There will be a focus on the format of the plan, the delivery of information, tactics used and the methods used to measure the success of the plan.
……………….middle of paper……………..
Driving under the effects of alcohol is one of the major causes of road accidents. For this reason, designing and implementing a drinking and driving program can be a better approach to the problem. Unlike other programs where the evaluation program determines success, the action plan addressing drunk-driving requires frequent monitoring in order to achieve the set objectives.
