Accessibility at a public university, student’s perceptions.

Accessibility at a public university, student’s perceptions: For a long time members of the society with disability were not fully recognized in the law until the ADA was enacted in 1990.

This law brought with it a lot of changes especially in the public sector and public institutions. Some of the changes involved renovating buildings in order to make them accessible to members with disabilities.

A study commissioned at the Colorado State University, which reviewed the buildings in the university in conjunction with the department of resources for disability students found out that the institution was ADA compliant.
